What a joy to find a real deli whose staff were exceptional and very helpful. Bear in mind I was shaky hungry on arrival and they accommodated my blue cheese sandwich request superbly and generously. With all the delicious aromas it was irresistible not to get a hearty sanny. Will definitely be coming back for a sit in meal with the missus. Definitely worth it.
Went to the dinner and wine tasting event last night . An eye opener on delicious Sicilian wines and a great menu. Lovely relaxed atmosphere . My husband and I enjoyed the evening very much. A big thank you to our son and daughter in law for offering us this delightful evening as a birthday present. Happy to go back anytime
Excellent pasta and super lovely service. The place was recently refurbished and looks great! The Gamberoni pasta is delicious. We have been a few times and always have the best time, fantastic Italian restaurant in Glasgow.
Lovely place. Excellent food. Very busy and loud so good for large parties. Not a fan of the lasagna, but when you've had the best (italian mama) nothing comes close. Think you can sit outside too. Deli part delish but expensive!! Worth it tho.
Foods excellent, really enjoyed it. I ordered the penne meatballs, the sauce was beautiful, meatballs were incredible. My partner ordered the soup and sandwich deal, thought 15 was steep, however the size and quality of the sandwich and soup showed why its worth the price, well worth it. Soup was 10/10. Service, hit and miss, were attentive, got us seated quickly, then after that it was radio silence. Probably an off day or short staffed. Highly recommend. Lastly, the lady with the lovely accent behind the deli counter was really friendly and definitely upsold us on the ice creams and brownies, definitely not complaining lol.
I've eaten at Celino's thrice this month and it's one of the most authentic Italian foods that I have ever eaten! Each experience has been amazing and the portion size, food and service has been on point. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic family run authentic Italian deli, tucked away on a busy Glasgow Street. The food is fresh and the service is second to none. Also one of the only places I've found in Glasgow that have the 'Golden layer' on there coffees, again authenticity wins out. This is a must visit for any foodie that finds themselves in Glasgows East end. I love a wee visit to this restaurant, whether it's to sit in or take out.
A very delicious stop on our tour of Scotland! We were too early for lunch, so we had breakfast! So delicious! Very impressed with the food, coffee, and service!
